Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install, the CURT T-Connector vehicle wiring harness. Now, right off the bat, this is gonna be a four pole wiring harness, so that you can connect to your trailer, get the lighting signals from your vehicle to the trailer so that you can let others know when you're towing that trailer, what your intentions are. Right off the bat, you'll notice that we have a five pole here. Well, we use an adapter because the person owns this vehicle is gonna use it primarily to tow his boat. And he needs that reverse lockout function to be on there which is going to be your fifth pole to be able to help to unlock the brakes when he is backing up with his boat trailer. more

Hi there, Jeep owners. Today on your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Tekonsha's 4-pole flat trailer connector vehicle wiring harness. And this is what our wiring looks like when it's installed. It is a 4-pole flat trailer connection that lives outside the vehicle and has an integrated dust boot into it which you can use to secure it to your safety chain loop when not in use. When you do go to use it, though, you're gonna get all of your lighting signals out of your 4-pole flat trailer connector here. This includes your left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps and break lamps, which will keep you DOT-compliant in all states. more
